Creative Streak Design, from its base in Newcastle upon Tyne, provides the full range of creative services from branding to digital media. Our team has worked on projects and major developments direct with many local, regional, national and international organisations. Along with more than 25 years experience in the design business...we can confidently say ‘We know what it takes!’
The one common thing we have at Creative Streak Design is that we care about we do. In a rapidly changing marketing landscape we’re here to help you deliver creative, effective advertising and marketing campaigns for you and your customers. Our philosophy is simple; we work hard, we love what we do and we always deliver.

Nik Jones

With over 20 years as a creative, developing branding, creating corporate collateral, printed and digital, for both UK and overseas companies, I can safely say ‘I know what it takes!’

I also work closely with many of the UK’s leading property agents and developers producing and managing their property collateral requirements. From the initial client briefing to the final marketing solution including full design concepts, CGI, photography and final printed or digital delivery. Over the years I have worked on some high profile projects, including the inital development of Newcastle’s prestigious Quayside and the production of brochures and exhibitions for all of the new office buildings on both the North and South side of the River Tyne.

Oh, one last point, I have golf handicap of one so I am available for any corporate golf days!!

Adrian Booth

Having started my career in fashion design after studying at London College of fashion, I’m well aware of foreseeing trends and able to distinguish between fads, trends and classics. I’ve been a victim to all three as far as dress sense is concerned and, unfortunately, have the photographs to prove it. Although all three are important, it all comes down to matching style with audience and purpose.

Barbara Gubbins

Barbara has a strong portfolio of expertise including event, project and business management, marketing, communications and fundraising. She worked for several years with partners Nik Jones and Adrian Booth at North East agency Albion Graphics as Media Director handling regional and national accounts and latterly Account Director managing agency business and ensuring account briefs were effectively delivered to clients.

Following several years working in the private sector in Newcastle, Barbara joined the voluntary sector working in child health, and latterly in County Durham running the Community Foundation. She has used her specialisms to develop new business and transform the image and profile of the organisations she has worked for to benefit local communities.

One of the highlights of her time in the charitable sector, was setting up the ‘Sunday for Sammy’ concerts for Tim Healy and Jimmy Nail which have become a regular bi-annual ‘sell out’ activity in the North East event calendar and raised hundreds of thousands of pounds for the charity.

Through her professional and leadership skills, Barbara has risen to become one of the top 500 most influential individuals in the North East and was recently awarded a CBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours for her achievements and contribution to the voluntary sector.

Barbara has continued to work with Creative Streak for design, marketing and literature for her organisation, but is now working with them as an associate. Cementing their long-standing relationship, she is keen to be involved in their future growth and development, providing a professional service to clients using original ideas, imagery and narratives.

Hilary Duffy

Hilary is a marketing communications professional experienced in planning, creating and implementing strategic programmes delivering clients’ objectives using both digital and traditional marketing skills. A colleague of Nik and Adrian’s for many years, they have worked successfully together on a diverse range of projects for business-to-business and consumer brands.

Hilary has nearly 20 years of consultancy and in-house marketing experience from senior roles in the UK and internationally and has twice been recognised with awards for excellence from the Chartered Institute of Marketing.

Hilary’s expertise includes creating distinctive and compelling messaging and positioning for brands. She enjoys working alongside creative design professionals to deliver highly successful integrated marketing communications campaigns which engage target audiences.
